The Globobolis Grass Roots Marketing Plan Details

Thank you for your interest in the Globopolis Grass Roots Marketing (GRM) Plan! We greatly appreciate your consideration in becoming a highly valued GR Marketer and helping us make the market introduction of Globopolis a tremendous success. We sincerely hope that you will find the following proposal interesting and that you will decide to order at least one case of six games to get started making extra money for yourself for the current holiday season right away.

Globopolis is a unique, NEW and extremely attractive product, which is being marketed in a unique and new way. You can be part of this new product launch and success story to be by joining our GR Marketing team. You will earn a %100 commission of $20 for every game you sell, and Globopolis virtually sells itself. Globopolis is simply a must have for anybody that likes a good board game.

We invite you to take advantage of the GRM Plan limited time introductory offer to purchase Globopolis for the incredibly low price of just $120 for a case of six games, including all taxes and shipping. Should you resell the games for $39.95, which is $5 under the suggested retail price of $44.95, you would double the money you decide to invest. How many games you purchase and sell is entirely up to you.
Once you sell at least one case of games and are interested in getting involved more seriously, you are invited to send us your resume and application for a full-time sales rep and/or marketing position for 2003.

  • A major premise of this market introduction concept is that almost everybody knows someone that would appreciate an excellent new board game as a gift. The holiday gift giving season is upon us, and this is one of the main reasons why you should be convinced that you can easily succeed in your endeavour to sell Globopolis and make extra money for yourself this November and December.
  • We guarantee your satisfaction with the quality of the product. It’s overall appearance and appeal are other significant reasons why selling Globopolis during the holiday season should not prove to be a difficult task for anyone.
  • Your secure online payment per credit card requires no money down and is insured by your credit card company.
  • If you consider keeping one copy of Globopolis for yourself and giving one away as a gift this holiday season, you would only have four left to sell, not to mention having gotten a top rate “luxury” board game for just $20 and given away an impressive present for just $20, that normally would have cost you at least $40.
  • You can share the "task" of selling games with a friend.

Why would you want to do this?
You would choose to purchase at least one case of Globopolis for the following reasons.

  • Because you are interested in a unique opportunity to independently earn an extra $120, $240, $360 or $480 over the next four to six weeks.
  • Because you are an outgoing individual that is sales oriented. For you, the idea of having and selling something cool that everybody wants to take a closer look at upon their first glance is something you think would be fun, and profitable.
  • Because you know five persons, other than yourself, that would love to have, and play, Globopolis, and you would like to do yourself and these other persons a favour by “getting” the game for them for less than half the normal retail price.
  • Because you are convinced that there is virtually no risk involved based on the following assumptions.
    1. You value the product at $40 for yourself, leaving you with five games to sell for a total of just $80 ($120-$40) just to get your money back.
    2. That selling five copies of Globopolis for $40 apiece would be a relatively simple task, especially in December, generating thereby $200 in revenue to pay for your $120 purchase, whereby you would have gotten your game for FREE, and not what it is worth, which is $40.
This would leave you with having made $120 on your $120 purchase, or a %100 return on your investment. Naturally, you could do that with two, three, or more cases. How many you purchase is naturally up to you.

How would you sell the games?
Here are just a few suggestions:

  • Show Globopolis to all your friends and family. Ask them to support your endeavour and spread the word for you. This alone should result in the sale of several games immediately.
  • Carry the game around to all your classes and pass it around the room. Simply let everyone know you are selling the game and that it makes an excellent gift for anyone that likes a good board game. From this alone, you should easily be able to sell five games (assuming you want to keep one for yourself) to people that would either want it for themselves or give it to someone as a gift, while at the same time supporting your entrepreneurial endeavour.

If you are more ambitious and want to sell more than one case of six games, then here are some suggestions for more active salesmanship.

  1. Regularly (at least once or twice a week) plan a time and place to play the game in public where people will most likely be able to take notice, and perhaps personal info. pamphlets you could print up and photo copy.
  2. Start an official Globopolis club (and distribute meeting information when playing in public)
  3. Organize at least one event, where several games would be played at once, through the Globopolis Club you establish and/or through invitations, flyers, email, announcements over college or even local radio announcements to entire groups you have begun to network with, etc. etc.) This event in itself would likely sell your entire inventory of 6 games if you put a bit of effort behind getting in publicized.
  4. Talk to the college newspaper about doing a story on, or minimally to announce, your event(s) and the establishment of the new Globopolis Club.
  5. Ask a popular local café, bar, cafeteria, bakery or whatever to display the game and have a few flyers on hand for those that inquire about it.
  6. Get your favourite bartender to do the same as number 5 and ask him to talk it up a bit.
  7. Take suggestion 6 a bit further and GIVE one game to a popular local bar and let them loan it out for free, while also offering your contact information on a flyer you could print and photo copy.
  8. Play the game or ask club members or friends to play Globopolis in a popular pub as often as possible, naturally with your personal info. pamphlets on hand

These are just suggestions. Naturally you can pick and choose whichever ones you like and/or come up with your own ideas.
